Transavia airline stops affiliate marketing programs

Airline Transavia (part of Air France KLM) has closed all affiliate marketing activities at Zanox and Daisycon among others. Sure they will have their reasons, but where affiliate marketing is very popular in retailing this seems a strange move. Not changing from affiliate network A to B, but closing everything. This makes affiliates remove all banners en links to Transavia. If one moment in time they want to start again with affiliate marketing the costs to start things up and get to the same level are very high.

Strange move. Allso KLM and Air France, together with other European Airlines, don´t have a strong affiliate marketing vision for Europe. They rather buy expensive tv or radio ads. A clear affiliate marketing strategy, not made by expensive agencies, could benefit the airlines. That could be one reason for the stop, to exit nonstopconsulting.

Financial problems at Dutch shoe retailer Shoemixx

Today we received a message that it is impossible to buy shoes at Shoemixx, with affiliate programs at Affiliate4u, M4N and Daisycon among others, because of big financial problems. At Affiliate4u the program is closed today for that reason. Earlier this year the Dutch company Thuisapotheek has applied for bankruptcy. Affiliatenetworks and affiliates had high invoices unpayed.

In Dutch “Helaas is het niet meer mogelijk is om bestellingen te plaatsen via de webshop van Shoemixx en wordt als oorzaak hiervoor aangegeven dat Shoemixx ernstige financiële problemen heeft”

We could not reach the company by phone for a comment.

Just received this message about financial problems at Urban Garden. “Pour faire suite à mon précédent mail du 20 mars, la société URBAN GARDEN (site http://www.smallgarden.fr) est en liquidation judiciaire. De ce fait, et nous en sommes désolés, nous ne serons pas en mesure de payer les commissions de Décembre, Janvier, Février et Mars.”

Not each day these affiliate stats are updated at same time. You can check your new depositing customers for that month, or the total op depositing customers. And important how many people are playing through your account at the affiliate program of Unibet.com.

Bwin.com affiliate program updates the revenue share monthly, i heard from a collegue affiliate. It is not clear in their own affiliate FAQ, that link (strange) disappears when we are signed in. I searched a long time for the FAQ at Bwin affiliate program and then discovered that i had to sign out to see the link on the right side top of the website.
